Words From Coach Clift: Night of Saints - Varsity Volleyball
Looking back on our season, it seems like ages ago, I remember a season of ups and downs, where improvement was the theme and God was glorified through our effort and attitude. We always take pride in our culture, to relate the life of the athlete to that of the believer. We are undefeated in Christ!
Now, for The Night of Saints, the focus must be on the seniors. But wait, there's just one, "Mamma Cass". That's my nickname for Cassandra Zaiser. She has been a blessing to our program since middle school. She always kept me in line and was the perfect barometer for the team. If something was going on with our chemistry, Cassandra was there to help solve it through her actions AND her voice. I think everyone on the team would agree, we will truly miss our leader next year. And, at the same time, her example will be everything next year's seniors will need moving forward.
And, now it is time to move forward. We look for another season of improvement and a chance to contend for another league title, God willing.
